Winter Season At Lake of the Ozarks

The winter season at Lake of the Ozarks is beautiful, quiet and what I would call sleepy.  The resort is setup for remote check-in, minimal activities, pool and other amenities are closed.  Guests come stay for the privacy and peaceful views of the lake. From each unit, you can see amazing views of the lake and its beauty.

What is there to do in the winter at Lake of the Ozarks?  So much.  Fishing off the docks is always available.  Walking the shoreline, neighborhood, and trails at Ha Ha Tonka State Park.  Ice skating at Old Kinderhook’s new ice rink.  Visit the Bridal Cave just 5 minutes down the road for a tour and a little shopping.  Speaking of shopping, there are several new boutiques popping up through the area too.  My favorite is watching the eagles hunt in the lake cove.  With all the leafless trees in the winter, you can see all the wildlife as it passes through.

Most lakefront bars and restaurants are closed, but the local towns’, Camdenton and Sunrise Beach’s, bars and restaurants are open and there are a couple great ones right down the street.  My favorites are The Tavern, Branding Iron, Pepperoni Bill’s Pizzeria, Chuckwagon Cafe (breakfast), Stewarts (breakfast) and The Highlander Pubic House is a new and very good restaurant.   DoorDash and Dominos are also easy dinner options.  The best newest bar is right down the road and is called Chicks & Dix.  At has a fun, comfortable bar area to sit and enjoy a beer with friends.

Don’t miss a chance to simply get away from it all and chill out lake front.  Our 30% discount runs from Jan 2nd until March 1st, 2024.  Just click on the link above and book online.  Hope to see you soon!!!Visit
